Frequently asked questions

Have a question that is not here?

What information do we need to start?

Use a domain for the domain-age lookup, a company name and location for public research, or a wallet address and its network for crypto screening. You can choose the checks that fit the case.

Can we run a check without the other company details?

Yes. Each check takes its own inputs. You can research a company name before you have its website or screen a wallet address on its own.

How do we keep research focused on the right company?

Provide the company’s city or country with its name, and use a website or wallet address you have linked to the company. Review the returned sources before adding a finding to the case.

Can we choose different checks for different clients?

Yes. Your application can call the tools it needs. In Paper OS, ask Atlas for the checks relevant to the case and supply the required inputs.

How do we combine these findings with document checks?

Keep the public-source results alongside the client’s documents in Paper OS, or collect the separate JSON results in your own system. This lets a reviewer compare outside findings with the information the client supplied.
